Happy holidays from Hydroniq Coolers!

December 21, 2023

2023 has been a fun-filled and busy period for the Hydroniq Coolers team, marked by new contracts, launches, active participation in numerous conferences, positive media coverage, and a growing demand for our products and services.

In May, the marine and offshore pumping system supplier Framo contracted us to deliver tube coolers for use in its hydraulic pump units that will be supplied to four FPSOs. In June, Spanish shipyard GONDAN Shipbuilders awarded Hydroniq Coolers a contract to deliver our hull-integrated marine cooling system to a newbuild hybrid buoy tender vessel.

In September, we were very pleased to learn that Hotel Alexandra Loen in Stryn, Norway, reduced its electricity usage by 20 percent due to installing a pleat cooler from Hydroniq Coolers. We are proud to be part of such a development, and it is interesting and fun to see that our products are increasingly being utilised in onshore solutions.  In the same month, we signed agreements to supply the marine cooling system to 13 tugboats that are destined for PSA Marine in Singapore.

September was a busy month for us, underlined by the launch of our online calculator for our Pleat seawater cooler. By simply inputting basic parameters such as required effect (kW) and flow (m3/h) as well as the expected temperature of inbound and outbound water, the online configurator will automatically calculate the various cooling system options that fit your requirements. Click here to try our online Pleat calculator.

In 2023, we saw increased demand for our service and support offerings. Preventative maintenance is essential to maintaining top performance, and our team can provide you with various support such as supervision during drydocking, repairs, repairs and overhauling, cleaning and reconditioning. On the back of a growing installed base, we also see a growing need for five and ten year classifications of our seawater cooling system.

We also endeavored to share more about ourselves by publishing interviews that provided both personal and professional insights into the people working at Hydroniq Coolers,. You can read the interviews with our logistics maestro Barbro, Hydroniq Cooler’s first full-time employee Sindre, the globetrotter Endre, and one of the latest additions to the team, Magnar, on our website.

Now, all that remains is to extend our warm wishes for a joyful holiday season and a happy new year to all our employees, customers, partners and suppliers. We look forward to new opportunities and collaborations in 2024.

Merry Christmas from the Hydroniq Coolers team!
